These terms govern participation in Verdict’s creator affiliate program (the “Program”), operated by Verdict Analytics, LLC (“Verdict,” “we,” “us”). By joining the Program you (“Affiliate,” “you”) agree to them. They’re separate from our general Terms of Service, which also apply to your use of Verdict.
This is not the eBay Partner Network. That’s a separate relationship in which Verdict earns commissions on outbound eBay links; it has nothing to do with this creator Program.
1. Eligibility & enrollment
The Program is open by application while we onboard creators manually. We may approve or decline anyone at our discretion, and we issue each Affiliate a unique promo code. You must be at least 18, provide accurate contact and payout details, and keep them current. We may require identity or tax information before paying you.
2. Your code & the audience offer
Your code gives a one-time $5 discount on the first payment of a new Verdict Pro subscription, redeemable only by customers who have not paid us before. Codes do not apply to the Founders plan, which is already a discounted rate locked in for life; no commission is earned on Founders subscriptions. The discount amount, the offer, and your code are ours to adjust or withdraw with reasonable notice. You may share your code on your own channels but may not present it as a Verdict-run promotion or imply you speak for Verdict.
3. Commissions
- You earn 25% of each payment (USD, calculated on the amount actually paid after any discount) a referred subscription makes, for as long as it remains active — recurring, not just the first payment.
- A subscription is attributed to you when the customer redeems your code on their first paid checkout. Commissions are earned only on genuine new customers; you may not earn on your own purchases, accounts you control, or customers who already had a subscription.
- A commission is reversed or withheld if the underlying payment is refunded, charged back, fails, or is found to be fraudulent or in violation of these terms.
- We determine attribution, the commission rate, and eligibility from our billing records, and that determination is final.
4. Payouts
We pay earned commissions monthly via PayPal once your approved balance reaches the $20 minimum. Balances below the minimum roll forward until they clear it. You’re responsible for giving us a valid PayPal address; we’re not liable for payments sent to an address you provided incorrectly. We may hold payouts pending review of suspected abuse.
5. Taxes
You participate as an independent party, not an employee, and are responsible for all taxes on what you earn. If you’re a U.S. payee and we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year, we may be required to issue a Form 1099 and may request a W-9 first. We can withhold payout until required tax forms are received.
6. Disclosure & how you promote
When you promote Verdict you must clearly disclose that you have a paid or affiliate relationship with us — for example “#ad,” “paid partner,” or a plain statement that you earn a commission. This is required by the U.S. FTC and the platform you post on; following it is your responsibility. You also agree not to:
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or post your code where it isn’t welcome;
- Bid on or use “Verdict” or our trademarks in paid search, domains, or app names, or impersonate Verdict;
- Make false or misleading claims about Verdict, its accuracy, or its pricing;
- Self-refer, create fake accounts, or otherwise manipulate redemptions;
- Promote in any way that violates the law or a platform’s rules.
7. Independent relationship
Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship. You can’t enter agreements or make representations on Verdict’s behalf.
8. Term & termination
Either of us may end your participation at any time, for any reason. We may suspend or terminate you immediately for violating these terms or for suspected fraud, in which case unpaid commissions tied to the violation are forfeited. On ordinary termination, we’ll pay any validly earned balance at or above the minimum at the next payout cycle. Your code stops working when your participation ends.
9. Changes to the Program
We may change these terms, the commission amount, the audience discount, or end the Program. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, give active Affiliates reasonable notice. Continued participation after a change means you accept it.
